The Hook
The Fettercairn team came to StudioLR for help creating content, and a new approach, for their new range of whiskies which were to be released at a higher price point.
The Line
With the new positioning that we created for them ‘A Taste of Imagination’ in mind I decided to create a more conceptual approach to their photography style, emphasising the light and tropical taste of the whisky while conveying the theme of imagination. This could then pushed further in later shoots. To create we decided to work with the brilliant Susan Castillo (supported by her studio cat Stephen) and long time collaborators Cue the Mustard.
The Sinker
With a whole load of acrylic and hard work we created some beautiful content that the client loved. Using ice and water to represent the rising vapours of the distillery’s unique ‘copper cooling ring’’ and natural elements to represent the beautiful surrounds of Fettercairn.
