Harnessing the power of teenage FOMO and turning it into action.

The Hook

While working at Union Direct, SQA briefed me and Jamie Venters (The House) to create a fun little campaign that encouraged Scottish high school students to sign up to ‘MySQA’. A service that allows them to receive their exam results early, by getting them via email or text.

The Line

I still remember the shitemare of high school a bit, and the only way I’d stop and look at a poster in a corridor when I was a moody teenager was if it was completely outrageous. Only option? Go full-throttle on the weird peddle with some slag thrown in.

The Sinker

With the help of some beautiful illustrations by Jenny Taylor we succeed in grabbing teen’s goldfish-sized attention spans. And the campaign results were 50% over target!
