Supported By Seafish

The Hook

Previously my workplace StudioLR worked on a brand strategy and internal engagement campaign with Seafish helping them articulate a simple, sharp purpose – ‘to give the UK seafood sector the support it needs to thrive’.

Seafish then tasked us to build upon this with an external campaign, to raise awareness and understanding of what they do.

The Line

As the sector’s biggest supporter, we proposed Seafish take a backseat and instead shines the spotlight on some amazing people and businesses they’ve helped.

As the campaign was created during the Covid lockdown, we interviewed our stars on Zoom, and I created a series of films from home archive materials and remote voiceover recordings.

The Sinker

A loveable campaign and set of films were created hinged on the campaign message ‘Supported by Seafish’, brimming with personality thanks to our star’s old photo books and phone albums that they generously let us bring their story to life with. The campaign was also fleshed out into social carousels and digital ads, and Seafish were stoked!

💥 Campaign Update for 2023 💥

Due to the success of the previous campaign, Seafish decided to create two further case studies. This time inspired by the heroic efforts of the organisations and people they work with.
